Application and operation

System description

The installation is intended for the extraction and filtration of wood dust, chips and sawdust generated by industrial woodworking machinery. Its central element is the Nawara Serwis FW 2030 overpressure bag filter, which separates conveyed material from the process air.

The system combines a nominal air capacity of 30,000 m³/h with 150 m² of filtration area. Filter bags measuring Ø160 × 3,000 mm are cleaned by an automatic mechanical shaker, helping maintain filtration performance while reducing the need for manual cleaning.

During the heating season, filtered air can be returned to the production hall. This recirculation recovers heat already contained in the extracted air and can reduce energy losses associated with discharging warmed air outside the building.

The installation may be suitable for sawmills, industrial joinery plants, furniture factories and other wood-processing facilities requiring a high-capacity central dust-extraction solution. The photo gallery documents the main filter unit, fan section and installed ductwork.
