Application and operation
System description
The German-made WEINIG PROFIMAT 23E ATS/5 prepares solid wood components, including window scantling components and lamellas. Working capacity is 230 mm wide and 120 mm high.
This configuration combines three planing units with two face-milling units. According to the supplier, the right and left face-milling units help produce parallel surfaces and square edges. Individual spindle positions and motor ratings are listed in the technical information.
Equipment includes workpiece width measurement, electronic width setting, electric adjustment of feed-roller and top-spindle height, pneumatic pressure and cardan-shaft feed drive. The infeed table is 2,470 mm long.
